Time for an oil change. I've been using Mobil 1 (Racing 4T for Motorcycles) since the bike was new in 2016. What oil do you guys use and why?

I’ve always used Rotela T6 syn in my bikes. Easily found at Walmart, jaso spec for wet clutches, and it’s cheap.

I use Cblast "Creamy Torque" engine oil. It doesnt do any of the shit that's stated on the bottle but it gives my anus a nice tingly feeling.
The purchase of an entire case includes a "Cody" engine diagnostic tool. You simply slap Cody all about your motorcycle and all your problems disappear.

Same here. Costs no more than Kawi dino oil and you can change it just as often without throwing too much $$$$ away.
I will try Amsoil next time and if it lasts twice as many miles, I might keep using it. I have feeling it will cost more than twice as much as Rotella though so there's your conundrum.

Im a faithful M1-4T user. I tried the T-6 in my ZZR-12 and the engine was a bit noisier than normal compared to M1- 4T so I drained it, refilled the engine with M1-4T and that's all I've been using for the last 4/5 years. Never gave it any thought to try the T-6 in my ZX-14 because the previous owner only used M1-4T in it plus I only ride 3,500- 4,000 miles a year so my oil changes are only 1 time a year. IMO $55.00 is a small price to pay for piece of mind.

My last 10,000 miles were on BelRay EXS 15W-50 and OEM filters. I go 5,000 mile intervals. With the BelRay I notice that my shifting seems to remain constant over the drain interval. Some oils I've used tend to deliver a notchy feel when the sump temperatures increase.
The only drawback is that the EXS is a tad pricey (around $47/5 liter).

I changed my engine oil right after the break-in miles recently, and noticed that with Motul 300V in there now, which admittedly costs $25 per liter up here in Canada,my gear shifting became much nicer and the "clunk" into 1st gear became a bit less jarring. The shifting improvement was very notable.
